On August 14th, BRAD hosted Canoeing/Kayak on the Mohican River in Loudonville, Ohio. There were a total of 9 of us who came and enjoyed the fun. It was a gorgeous sunny day on the river. There were five of us who paddled the kayaks for 7 miles. Usually, it takes 2 and half hours, but we had our boats flow on water without paddling most of time and chatted away more than 4 hours. Unfortunately, one person had to stay behind in the area when he failed to stay on the kayak because he flipped over several times and gave up. He waited for us when we took the bus to return our boats. Three other people chose to stay on the campground while the rest of us were on the river. After we were done with kayaking, the storm started to come toward to us with heavy rain and thunders but we were lucky with having had a great day on the river. Then for dinner, the seven of us went out to The Cabin Restaurant which was a nice and cozy place with fabulous food. Afterward, three people went back to Columbus that night. But, the four of us went back to campground and stayed overnight then Sunday, we headed back home. Thanks to all of you who came and had a lot of fun.
Enjoy what is left of the summer and we all are looking forward to seeing you at BRAD’s next event - OktoBRADfest on Saturday, October 2nd! If you are interested, go to BRAD’s event page for more information.
